Today was fun but so busy

I'm starting to live my dream. I'm selling my blankets. I have been making blankets for about 15 years. Given as gifts and used in my own family,

Today I made two blankets, and cut and started to pieced together together a Memory blanket.  The two items I think people will like. My kids helped out. I had Marysa and Joey tacking patches and pulling pins from finished blankets.  It was nice to see them excited.

Joey wants me to keep the the blankets. All I can think is my house has more blankets than any house on earth and really we don't need to keep another.

Marysa and I also hit the sale at Joann's. More bright fabric hopefully to draw some attention to my website.

Oh the website is MarysaJane.com . A bunch of gently used Fluff is there now but I do have one of my creations up so far. Hop over and tell me what you think. I'd love feed back.

Here's a shout out to a new company I thought a Pay It Forward was worthy.

*if you are a new company and want to have your own Giveawy please contact me. I love helping people out.

Sandbox Lane was launched in 2011 just a few months after our first baby was born. We wanted to create a store that sold eco-friendly products at affordable prices because we could never find a store that had everything we wanted for her all at one place. When we choose products, we decided we'd only sell products we can stand behind and would suggest to our friends and family. We also wanted to make sure it would carry a big enough selection for others as well. We are always updating our inventory and wanting feedback what others want to see. Our goal is spread the word bringing eco-friendly products into a child's world can make a lasting effect on their life to come.

Our team is created of a menagerie of creative and green-minded people who want to make a difference. Our office is in beautiful Southern California. In our spare time, you'll find our team cycling, running, gardening, playing with our kids, and finding excuses to soak up the sun!

This store started as a way to spread our love for a greener lifestyle and turned into something so much more. The knowledge we've obtained and all the wonderful people we've met online makes us feel truly blessed.

*****So here's the rules. This is  Pay It Forward. So I want to hear what your doing to make this world a little Greener.

My Weight Loss Journal

OK that's not a photo of me. It is my Mii on my Wii. Everyday I weigh myself on the Wii Fit. Everyday my Wii say ohh your over weight to me. Well I'm on the line now. I can't wait to her the Wii tell me your normal.

If you've been following along you know on Feb 22,2011 on my doctors scale I weighed in at 198 pounds. I was told I needed to loose weight to reduce the stress on my back. Today is Apr 28, 2011 and I am 175 pounds. I am so happy. In one pound I will have made the half way mark to my goal.

I'm still counting my calories with My Fitness Pal and I'm still having fun with it.

I'll check back in with my goals in about a week with a real ME photo.

I bet you didn't know catsup can magically appear in a 9 year old boys hair.

Once  upon a time on a Tuesday night in late April my son Joey met me at my car."Mom"" he says "want to hear some thing weird? I was standing in the living room and all of a sudden I felt something on my head and it was covered in catsup."

Hmm...... as a Mama of boys I know he had something to do with it. OK he had everything to do with it. He was the only child in the room. His sisters at their other parents houses. His little brothers at daycare and his Dad resting in the bedroom with a headache.

I glanced at the room. No catsup on the ceiling. Thank goodness. There is a nest of pillows on the living room floor near my sofa made out of every pillow, blanket and sofa cushion in the house. I ask Joey to pick up his mess. I proceed to the back yard to water the garden and back into the house to start dinner. Joey mentions there is catsup on the floor. He wont show me where.

I put my mad Mama ninja skills into action. Go over to the area where I saw a plate of catsup the night before. There on the floor in front of the sofa a huge spot of catsup. The table that use to have a plate and some mail on it is cleared. I touch the table it's sticky. I look be hind the sofa where the pillows and blankets are stored. There is the plate of catsup, the mail and all the pillows and blankets covered in catsup.

I ask Joey did he see the catsup all over all the pillows and blankets. "No Mom. I swear there was no catsup over there and I did nothing."

Holy cow. This kid is going to kill me. No one around to blame so catsup magic appears all over the livingroom and his head.

Earthy Chruchy Mama

Kudos are to be given where kudos are deserved. Earthy Crunchy Mama is once again one of my favorite Flip places to shop. Last week I placed my second order. More Flip disposable inserts and covers. I'm a pay check to pay check kind of Mama. I have five kids. I have dreams there for I watch my pennies and dimes.

My five favorite things about Earthy Crunchy Mama:

1: She is a person. I first met her when she posted on Twitter needing advice for her New born cloth diaper program. I like people. Real people.

2: She's green. I have been teased since I first registered to vote 17 years ago as part of the Green Party. Called a hippy. Well I love my Earth. I want it to be as beautiful for my Great Grand children as it is now for my children. This woman's whole job is to sell products real every day people can use to make sure my kids and thier kids will have a beautiful planet.

3: She carries compostable disposable diapering products for a busy Mama like me. I have five kids. I work full time. I garden, I go on extension field trips of what my kids are learning in school and I cloth diaper. I need to know I can live with out destroying everything I love. I buy Flip Disposable inserts knowing I can throw them in my compost bin and life will renew.

4: Her shipping and handling is under priced. Makes me feel like I'm getting the best deal n earth. $5.95 under $75 bucks and free over. How cool is that? I shipped two bummis whisper wraps and I know it was more than $5.95. She shipped my 4 packages of inserts and four covers for free. I also got a little something Green, That's right  Rock in Green Cloth diaper detergent. Awfully nice of her I'd say.

5: She gives good  Great customer service. I waited a full week waiting on my second order. I e-mailed her on a holiday and got a quick reply, advice and a $5.00 gift code. All above and beyond what was needed. I will shop with her, refer her and let you know her shop is worth it.

Take a click over to http://www.earthycrunchymama.com/ and know you'll be a happy customer like me. Oh yeah she does baby, Mama and kitchen goodies. Fun, Fun for everyone.

Just something I was interested in other readers may be too.

Last year my hubs bestie had a birthday. A guest at the party was reading Everything and More: A Compact History of Infinity. by David Foster Wallace. I bought it. I was more interested in the author than his work as I often am. This quick blurb may interest you. If it doesn't the blog is interesting and worth some time reading.
