Trainer Reviews Recap, The Cause, and a random gift of Love
Some of my readers may have noticed my blog posts are not coming nearly as often. There are a few things going on that I can point at to blame. One is not fun. I went back to work after 10 weeks off. Two a little more fun.... I am the ultimate Soccer Mom. OK may not ultimate but I have three kids playing this year and me time will be stretched. One of the three has decided she's also going to ref. I think a data card may be in my future to keep up with all I want to share with you. Third. my next review required a lot of prepping and my informant at preschool took vacation. With that said one to more cool things.
Cole and the Crooked Flower is at 42% of there goal of $6500 to be able to self publish a book where every dime goes back to learn more about Infantile Progressive Scoliosis. This is an amazing cause for a disease that has a cure already and not enough doctors know what to do. Take a look a the closest child to you and imagine them deformed for life when they could have been cured . One dollar helps or even one tweet or Facebook post. Every little bit helps.
I am here to tell those of you who are helping a little everyday thank you! with a random gift of love. | Imse Vimse. Nothing water proof included however it doesn't leak easy. It's easy to pull up and down, fits trim, allows baby to feel the wetness and it's also Preschools favorite. |

Kushies training pants. Yes they are puffy. They hold so much pee you wont have to change baby's clothes. I have used these through three boys. They are economical. Preschool gives me a thumbs up. Easy to pull up and down . |

| Charlie Banana training pants. Trim fit. Not very absorbent. Super soft. Preschool is not a huge fan but will use them if the other choices are worse. |

| Blueberry trainers will catch an accident and then create a mess. I'm getting a 50/50 feeling from preschool with these. I like them at home because Declan knows he's wet. Very cute. |
Mother-ease training pants. They probably make an awesome diaper. These trainers would make an awesome diaper. They are huge and super puffy, they are absorbent like no other and preschool hates them.

| Little Beetle Learners to me are a waste of money. They look like a diaper with snaps on he sides, never catch an accident and are really expensive. Two thumbs down from me and preschool. |

Progressive Infantile Scoliosis is the rotation and curvature of the spine beginning before the age of 3 years. It affects 1 in 10,000 kids. It is a progressive disease, where the curvature & rotation of the spine worsens as the child grows. Because it starts so young, the child has a lot of growing to do, which, without treatment can lead to severe disability such as being respirator dependent and even death. Fortunately, there is a cure if caught before the age of 2. Serial body casting can be used to slowly straighten and derotate the child's spine. Together with the child's rapid growth, these casts help train the child's spine to grow straight. The problem is that most physicians do not know how to diagnose it, leading to it either being missed altogether or misdiagnosed, causing kids to miss their window for complete correction. Additionally, only a handful of orthopedic surgeons nationwide are currently offering this treatment.~Provided by Jennifer

Meet Mama Pear Designs: A Shout Out and Giveaway
As a lot of you know I'm dying to get my on-line shop off the ground. The process is taking a little longer than I had hoped. Lara is one of the vendors I was introduced too in hopes of reselling her Lactivist inspired T-shirts for Mom's and Onesies for Babies. Well my store may have taken off slow but my interest in her company did not leave so this July not only is my Shout Out/Giveaway Mama Pear Designs but I am dedicating my blog to one of my passions of Breast feeding.
My own stories with my three will be laced among other stories I was donated by Mom's who currently are, who have in the past and who have tried to breastfeed. This is my Shout Out to Mama Pear Designs.
First lets meet Lara who is the brains behind these natural organic cotton T's for Mom and Baby with personal shout outs on each item Pro Breastfeeding.
In the Spring of 2006, I found out that I was pregnant with my first child, and I immediately knew that once my baby was born I would do whatever necessary to breastfeed him. I was fortunate enough to have a baby who knew right from the start how to suckle, and then and there, a beautiful relationship came to be. I have since had another baby and I am enjoying nursing him just as much as I did my older son. In short, my journey through motherhood thus far has created a passion for breastfeeding. In my own personal experience I have found such joy, that I strive to help other moms-to-be realize the possibilities in the beautiful relationship that awaits them should they choose to nurse their babies. I also strive to encourage my friends who are also breastfeeding moms, when they encounter an issue that involves breastfeeding.
MamaPear Designs(TM) was born when it became overwhelmingly apparent to me that there needs to be a greater social awareness created with regard to, and a real public dialogue conducted about, breastfeeding. It needs to be encouraged and promoted by health professionals and mamas alike. My hope is that when you wear one of my designs, you will raise an eyebrow, provoke a thought, incite a question, and create awareness for a cause that needs women like you to help promote it. Join me as a proud Lactivist and let’s change the world…one pair at a time!

To all my lovely readers
Happy summer. I can't keep apologizing for my irregular post. My guess is most of you are enjoying summer. I have been off on disability for my back. My older kids have been out of school since last week. We joined the YMCA where I have been swimming daily or at least sitting sitting in filtered shade at the advice of my Spine Doctor. So far not much improvement but good things come to those to wait. My kids are loving it. I have been looming in the morning since I can while laying on my back. Lots of hats, baby blankets, scarves and purses to come to my Etsy shop if you want to see. Some sewing machine sewing, those projects take little longer since sitting is no fun. I am hoping to post some bags and sun hats to celebrate summer.
As far as the kids.......... Tanner, Marysa and Joey have been crafting key chains, friendship bracelets, and soap. Sonny and Declan are still going to daycare since watching them all day makes my pain increase and they have more fun with all the kids.
For your silly steak... Here are some great pics of table dancing before table dancing is not so cute.
Oh and one more thing. E-mail me your breastfeeding stories. I'd like my contributions to combat the bad press Mama's have been getting for nursing their babies in public to be my blog All of July!!!! I'll be posting as many as I can,telling my own stories and a Shout Out/Giveaway to a really cool Lactavist inspired shop Mama Pear Designs. I can't wait.

Marine Parents {The Shop} Shout Out and Giveaway!

I'm really excited about this giveaway! I love small business and I love handmade. I'd like you to meet the crafter behind one of my favorite Esty shops and join in our fun with this one of a kind giveaway.
Hi! My name is April, and I’m the late night seamstress behind the Marine Parents shop. The shop is an eclectic mix of projects that are constantly spinning about in my mind. Each product is something I would use in my own life, and every fabric is personally drooled over by me, figuratively speaking!! I just can’t help but spend gobs of hours pouring over gorgeous designer fabrics!!
Over the last year or so, the shop has been opened, closed, on vacation several times and has seen a big change in products featured. Up until about six months ago, my husband was the only one in the family who knew how to sew. Now I have completely taken over the shop, given it a major design overhaul and am cranking out as many products as I can every night after our daughter goes to bed. I’m usually up until the very early morning hours sewing and creating, but I wouldn't change a single thing.
Having the shop has been a major blessing -- not only has it allowed me to bring fresh income into our home by doing something I love, but it has also connected me with so many other friendly handcrafters! Many of my new friends are part of this awesome handcrafting community, and they are some of the sweetest and most sincere people I have ever met. I hope that God will continue to bless me and this little piece of creativeness in the world for awhile more -- it’s such a fun and exciting adventure!

Marysa Jane's First Review is out.
This is so exciting for me! My store has been slow opening and I hope this gives us some traffic. Dreams do come true if you work hard enough.

For my good Twitter Pal
I have a pal I met on Twitter. She has back to back babies like me. Only her's are both still in diapers and closer in age than Sonny and Declan. She's my pal on a couple different levels. SHe's usually awake late night when I'm the only one up at home and we chat. She likes some of the same stuff I do. Sewing, cloth diapers, kids, crafts and being good to people.
She helps me. She doesn't have to but she does. Most of my followers here on my blog I am sure are from her cheer leading and posts about my giveaways. My giveaways are important to me. I am dying to be something bigger than me. I can do this by shouting out and giving free PR of small businesses. It's the only time in my life I can connect with the people I love and work with daily without a corporate policy dictating to me what I can and can not do.
I have never met my pal face to face but I'm sure if we were in the same area we would be real life friends. She's great! Any how the goal of my post is not to go on and on about my pal but attempt to return her kindness to me. I have been entering Ergo Baby giveaways. She needs one to improve the quality of her life as a Mommy. I can't imagine my life without being able to toss my little one on my back so chasing the other with both arms free. I know my Ergo has allowed me to do lots without hurting my back and giving my ample freedom without neglecting my babies.
With the kindness of Kindred Spirit Mommy I was able to join in her giveaway to try and win an Ergo for my Twitter pal. Wish me luck. The Giveaway ends tomorrow.

Sandbox Lane was launched in 2011 just a few months after our first baby was born. We wanted to create a store that sold eco-friendly products at affordable prices because we could never find a store that had everything we wanted for her all at one place. When we choose products, we decided we'd only sell products we can stand behind and would suggest to our friends and family. We also wanted to make sure it would carry a big enough selection for others as well. We are always updating our inventory and wanting feedback what others want to see. Our goal is spread the word bringing eco-friendly products into a child's world can make a lasting effect on their life to come.
Our team is created of a menagerie of creative and green-minded people who want to make a difference. Our office is in beautiful Southern California. In our spare time, you'll find our team cycling, running, gardening, playing with our kids, and finding excuses to soak up the sun!
This store started as a way to spread our love for a greener lifestyle and turned into something so much more. The knowledge we've obtained and all the wonderful people we've met online makes us feel truly blessed.

Children's Book Giveaway
Here it goes...our first giveaway. I thought carefully about ways I could give back selecting this giveaway. What better way than to share my love of books with a meet the author, promote their book and giveaway a copy to a lucky person.

This book is a beautifully illustrated and captivating story of two bunny sisters that will dazzle your children and quickly become a favorite in your child's home library.

This rhyming “read to me” picture book is about my two little bunny rabbits and their crazy behaviors. It is composed of true stories, complimented by artwork that will capture any child’s imagination. Fun shapes, bright colors and fancy borders accent each page. A child can count the carrots at the bottom of each story page. This book also touches upon (ever so slightly) the responsibility of caring for such a special pet with an excerpt called “Hair Raising Thoughts About Raising Little Hares”.
